What are FabuLingua & Miro?

This week during our interview each other episode, we shared our two favorite apps from the Hitech Podcast.

  1. Miro - Is an awesome a visual collaborative and whiteboard tool, that we highlighted in Episodes 2 | Digital Whiteboarding & Background and 62 | LMS as Surveillance pt. 2 & Miro.
  2. FabuLingua - Is an amazing language learning tool we talked about in episode 104 | Mark at FabuLingua. It combines story telling and language acquisition theory to create an amazing language learning experiences.

What can they be used for?

Miro

Miro can be used for so many things, one of which is a definitely a digital whiteboard and another is creating collaborative learning experiences. To learn more review episode 62 | LMS as Surveillance pt. 2 & Miro.

Fabulingua

If you need to teach kids how to learn a language or give future teachers you are educating a tool that can help with language acquisition this is the tool for you! Fabulingua creates story games that allow the students to progressively learn a language, use it, and then teach it.

How do I get started?

  1. Miro - You can access Miro for free, just by signing up. We recommend starting there and trying some of the great tools available in the app. You can even try out their huge list of templates to get started. We also recommend checking our their Guide for Virtual Collaboration if you need help.
  2. FabuLingua - You can try FabuLingua for free by going to their Try for Free page. If you like the tool you can learn more about payment options on their pricing page and then can take games to try in class.
