This Week's App: Wakelet
What is Wakelet?
You can add video, images, files, links, and written content all into one creatively organized page. It also integrates with Twitter, Flipgrid, Youtube, onedrive, and google drive. Once your content is curated you can share your content by simply sending someone a public link to the content.
What can it be used for?
Since Wakelet is a content organization tool there are a ton of ways to use this tool in education. You and your students can create:
- Wikis & Annotated Bibliographies - Your students and you can make wikis that provide resources and definitions together. Imagine being able to make resources recommendations for a topic that includes books, websites, videos etc. Or having your students do the same thing.
- Research Curation - You or your students can curate resources in Wakelet and then share it with other people.
- Portfolios - Since Wakelet allows you to link to and upload content, you could have your students create their own portfolios of their work. The great thing is a wakelet can be shared in class and outside class.
- Collaboration activities - Wakelet allows you and your students to collaborate together. You could have them create a class wiki together, pull together resources for a group project, and the list goes on.
If you want to see a practical example of how Wakelet can be used, check out the Career Pages Wakelet Will made below.

How do I get started?
Once you have tried it out and set up your integrations, then all you need to do is have fun using it or getting your students using it!
