This Week's App:iorad

What is iorad?

Iorad is a tutorial builder that allows a user to create efficient, interactive tutorials that can be shared with others. Want to show someone how to do something? With iorad, all you have to do is activate the tool and then complete the process online.

Then, iorad automatically generates a step-by-step tutorial that can be interactive, turned into a video, or exported out as a pdf. As iorad advertises, their tool works like magic.

What can it be used for?

Iorad is one of those tools that has a singular use that can be used in so many different ways. Iorad is a great tool for creating quick and easy tutorials for students that can show them how to use the tools you ask them to use in class or train them on setting things up. You don't have to be a pro or know how to code to build fun interactive tutorials.

Sure, you could do a video or just write instructions, but iorad can give you a chance to have students practice while getting written and audio instructions from you.

Want to show a student how to set up MLA format in word? Iorad can help! Want to show them how to create a video or project in a tool like Flipgrid or Canva? Iorad can help!

To get a better idea of what can be done check out this super short tutorial on how to access episodes on our website that we created.

How do I get started?

Iorad is a freemium tool. While they have have paid education plans that could be helpful, we recommend signing up with the free account to start. From there the best thing to do is start creating some tutorials. You can view iorad’s Quick Start Guide to learn more about using the tool.
