Lauren HeilThis week on the Hitech Podcast we are joined by Lauren Heil from Stickity. Lauren is a talented professional with a diverse skill set encompassing graphic design, art direction, and education. Beginning her career as a graphic designer and art director, Lauren eventually found her true calling in teaching. She taught computer science to middle and high school students in a Title 1 district in Denver, Colorado. Using her extensive knowledge of design, Lauren began training educators on the effective use of design in student-facing materials, which led her to become a participant in the Google Certified Innovators program in 2019.
Since then, Lauren has continued to make her mark in the education and design world. She has worked as a designer for educational apps and developed online professional development experiences for educators. Lauren's primary dedication and passion lie in supporting educators to develop class materials that are both accessible and inclusive, catering to the diverse needs of all students. Lauren's proudest achievement thus far has been designing and developing the widely popular Google Add-on, Stickity.
